This love object, travelling through air like integrals – another facet of the same impulse to gather & preserve parts, stitch them together like cracks that let the light in. I counted this sum of small seductions on the wall in my studio, with a graphite pencil before I took off my shoes.

This piece uses discarded watch crystals made of glass, stretching time into its own 24-hour symmetry, expanded & spiking. The handle is made from the soles of ballet flats that have been worn so much they fell apart, and hidden layers of leather surfaced.
